In the frosty coastal town of Faaborg, Denmark, the Danish Ice Swimming Championship 2024 unfolded, an event that merges adrenaline with icy waters. Amidst the biting chill, swimmers from across the world converged to test their limits in the freezing Baltic Sea.
I captured a cold and sunny Sunday morning on film, some leftovers of Ilford HP5+ pushed to 1600 and the rest exposed on Fuji C200. Armed with my Canonet and Leica AF-C1.
Shout out to Lars Bech (Son of Lone) who competed and came home with two silver medals in the breaststroke competition. Great to have a chat with a fellow photographer.
Captured on.
